To Be Continued : The Practice of Prayer

A message from Graeme Kirk titled “To Be Continued”. From Colossians chapter 4, Graeme discusses prayer.

“Is prayer your steering wheel or your spare tire?” … Corrie Ten Boom

Paul begins this chapter by urging believers to devote themselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. This call to prayer sets the tone for the entire chapter, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a vibrant and constant connection with God. As Paul encourages the Colossians to pray for open doors to share the Gospel, he emphasizes the power of wisdom in our interactions with non-believers. Our speech, he reminds us, should be gracious and seasoned with salt, a reminder to communicate with love, gentleness, and discernment.

Let us be inspired to live out our faith with renewed dedication. By infusing our lives with prayer, wisdom, grace, and authentic relationships, we can navigate the complexities of our world while remaining rooted in the transformative power of Christ’s love.
